The Golf Master’s Club was founded in 1994 by A. K. Gokal, T. Syed and G. Chetty. The current Executive Committee consists of Mr A.K. Gokal as the President, Mr A. Rampaul as the Captain and Mr T. Syed as Vice-Captain and Treasurer.

The Golf Master’s Club has been built on the basis of Fair Play, Integrity and respect for fellow players.

Tournaments are set out for the entire year (from February to November) and are predominantly played on Sundays at the Break of Dawn and includes the following formats: approx. 2 League Games/month in Stableford format off the White Tees
Golf Master’s Cup in Medal format off the Yellow Tees
the 4 Majors in Medal format off the White Tees namely the
. Masters Classic Championship
. Masters Championship
. Open Championship
.
Player’s Open Championship
The 3 Club Tournament (including Putter) in Stableford format
Matchplay Tournament (Across the entire field) in Stableford format,
1 “free” weekend game where players can choose between Ryder Cup format, Multiplier, Match-Play, Betterball Alliance with ALL scores to count on the Par 3’s, etc.

Annual Club membership fees for 2021 is R500 which generally covers the cost of the annual prize giving function, tournament prizes, etc. Membership fees exclude the Golferscard membership fee, green fees, travelling costs, etc. Detailed Rules and Constitution of the Golf Master’s Club can be made available on request.
